The Legendary Cyclones were formed in Georgia by Jason “Lightning” Lee. When Jason re-located to Florida, he began the New Smyrna Beach chapter of the band, which is going strong today!
The band’s mission is simple: share love with and give peace of mind to our fellow humans in a crazy world. A Legendary Cyclones show is meant to help people relax and enjoy themselves in uncertain times.

In 2021, The Legendary Cyclones released their debut EP, Long Cool Ride. The five-track effort highlights the band’s Rockabilly influences, while speaking on modern times. High-energy tunes like “Long Cool Ride” and “Let’s Roll!” will have listeners of all generations moving along to the groove. Meanwhile, tales of resilience like “Better Days” and “Giving Up Ain’t In Me” give a window into the challenges — and triumphs — of navigating through life in the 2020s.
Currently, the band performs cover and original sets throughout Central Florida in support of its new acoustic EP, Sound Kitchen Sessions. Recorded at the iconic Sound Kitchen Studios in Franklin, TN, Sound Kitchen Sessions features live, acoustic versions of Cyclones favorites, plus two unreleased tracks. Jason and Linda are accompanied by the incredible Ryan Tolson on lead guitar.
