Keith Gay

Although, he now lives in Nashville, Keith never forgets he was born a good ol’ Georgia boy. Being raised in the south, true southern values were deeply instilled in him. “Your mother is your rock. Your family is your home. Your heart is what people will remember. Keep tight your beliefs, but remain open to new knowledge. Responsibilities are priority, but stay true to your dreams. Give 100% to your efforts while appreciating the journey. And never assume the worse until the worse is proven.”

With such a great foundation to stand and his God given talent of vocals, Keith’s path was well laid. In early childhood, he made his singing debut in his hometown church. From there he continued to sing anywhere and everywhere, perfecting his art. It was in his early teens when he became a self-taught guitarist. While playing along with the classics of Conway, Merle, Elvis and many others, Keith gained the ability to play music by ear. Wanting to excel even further, he expanded his talent to song writing. From his southern roots and living the down-home, country life, there are plenty of stories and experiences to draw from. Today Keith’s song catalog exceeds hundreds as he continues to write one great song after the other.

It was in the mid 90’s that he ventured out, doing gigs in local venues. He quickly became a regular at many night clubs and taverns. His fan base began to rise quickly, as did his popularity with the clubs’ managers and owners. During this same time, a band was formed. First, its name was The Lighting Creek Band, then later on the name was changed to KGB, The Keith Gay Band. Keith and the band performed many, many shows throughout the southeast, including regular gigs at Tommy’s in Pooler, Ga., with one complete year devoted to being the official band of The Duke’s Festival. For years, three nights a week, drawing a packed house, Keith performed at the Cavalier Club in Savannah, Ga., as well as playing the Cavalier in South Carolina.
Through out his career, not only has Keith had the opportunity to work with some of the best ‘behind the scenes” greats in the music industry, he has shared the stage with some very talented national artists. Some of these include: Van Zant, Kentucky Head Hunters, Confederate Railroad, Sammy Kershaw, Chris Young, Stella Parton, and Colt Ford.

Whether he is performing an acoustical show or with a full band, this country boy commands the stage, rattling the nails from the rafters. His extremely wide range of vocals give him the ability to perform any song. His extraordinary voice sings it perfectly. And, with his charismatic personality, a shine of natural southern charm engulfs it, beginning to end. So, with every song, of every performance, he will put you right in the middle of it. You’ll not only hear the words, you will feel the passion in which the words were written.

Whether you have previously witnessed an exhilarating Keith Gay performance or have never had the gripping opportunity, you need to make it happen. There is no exaggeration when it comes to this man’s passion and talent. If you’ve experienced it, you know. If you haven’t, you will.

Keith Gay passion –
When your eyes see it, when your ears hear it, when your heart feels it,
…you will be mesmerized.

A Keith Gay Performance is not just a show……it is an experience.
